About The Position

The Car Wash Associate prepares, guides, and loads vehicles into the wash tunnel; applies bug spray; and helps ensure the location has clean towels and properly functioning equipment. The role provides a positive customer experience by anticipating customer needs, assisting with requests, building relationships, and handling vehicles with care. Associates also maintain location cleanliness and may perform minor landscaping as directed by leadership.

This is an entry point for individuals interested in developing leadership skills and potentially advancing into management. The work is primarily outdoors and takes place in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to varying weather and moderate to high noise levels. The role involves frequent interaction with colleagues and customers and requires standing and walking for extended periods, performing manual tasks, operating equipment, and maintaining stamina throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to work outside and adapt to various weather conditions.
• Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, perform manual tasks and operate equipment, and maintain stamina and endurance throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Apply bug spray to vehicles and guide them into the wash tunnel.
• Complete location-cleanliness tasks, including sweeping, replenishing supplies, mopping, cleaning, and minor landscaping as directed by leadership.
• Assist customers with requests to enhance their experience.
• Exceed customer expectations by being friendly and handling vehicles with extreme care.
• Help ensure the location is equipped with clean towels and that equipment is functioning properly.
