About The Position

At SIXT, the Car Support Agent is responsible for ensuring a seamless rental experience for customers and maintaining the smooth operation of the vehicle fleet. This role involves direct customer interaction, document verification, vehicle inspection, and offering additional products and services. The position offers flexible hours and growth opportunities, with a starting pay of $22.15 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of customer service experience.
At least 18 years old.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
Basic computer navigation skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts.
Willingness to wear a company uniform.

Nice To Haves

Speaking other languages is a plus.
Open to travel (5-10%), some of which may be by airplane.

Responsibilities

Verifying customer documents, checking the validity of driver’s licenses, and requesting additional documentation when needed.
Assisting customers in selecting the right vehicle and handling exchanges to meet business needs.
Offering additional products and services, such as prepaid fuel and toll passes, and addressing customer questions or concerns.
Finalizing rental agreements by confirming documents, adjusting as needed, explaining charges, and providing accurate receipts.
Inspecting returned vehicles for damages, mileage, and fuel levels, ensuring personal belongings are removed, and maintaining a clean workstation in line with corporate standards.
