About The Position

EDS Service Solutions partners with car rental companies to support their back-end operations and help ensure an exceptional customer rental experience. The Car Rental Cleaner works in car rental service, assisting customers at counters and cleaning, washing, parking, vacuuming, disinfecting, and refueling vehicles as needed. The role combines customer service, rental and return processing, and outdoor vehicle preparation. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Chelsea/Revere, Massachusetts location. Pay is $18 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Prior customer service experience and excellent customer service skills.
Valid driver's license.
Clean driving record for the past three years.
Must be able to work outdoors.
Must be able to scan for eight hours.
Must be able to walk, bend, and twist for eight hours.

Responsibilities

Provide world-class customer service while managing rental and, occasionally, return processes in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Welcome customers professionally and maintain appropriate appearance, language, and behavior.
Provide a clean and safe vehicle to every customer.
Take ownership of customer service issues and resolve them promptly.
Contribute to teamwork and collaboration.
Use company-approved sales and service techniques to determine customer needs and offer optional products that meet those needs.
Prepare rental and return documents accurately and completely, including the Rental Agreement Folder.
Qualify customers according to company rental requirements.
Provide directions, maps, local area information, and appropriate service information.
Review rental parameters, rates, and service charges with customers and ensure rental return dates and times are accurate.
Review charges when vehicles are returned.
Answer customer phone calls in a friendly, helpful, and prompt manner.
Resolve customer service issues effectively.
Coordinate customers in the queue to minimize wait times and promote efficient service.
Assist at the car wash by cleaning, vacuuming, disinfecting, and refueling vehicles as needed.
Wash and park cars.
