About The Position

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Car Detailer to prepare rental vehicles for customers. This hands-on, outdoor role helps ensure vehicles are clean, safe, reliable, and ready for the road. No prior experience is necessary; on-the-job training is provided. The position requires regular on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely. The listed pay is $18.50 per hour, with a shift premium possibly applying.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Take pride in producing clean, high-quality work and demonstrate attention to detail.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in a moderate noise level.
• Flexibility to work all shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and continuously stand, walk, bend, enter and exit vehicles, and drive a variety of vehicles.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Wash vehicles and vacuum, sanitize, and remove trash from interiors.
• Prepare vehicles for the next rental while meeting quality and cleanliness standards.
• Refuel vehicles and check fluid levels and tire pressure.
• Inspect vehicles for auto body damage and monitor dashboard warning indicators.
• As needed, move, park, and organize vehicles across airport lots.
• Help ensure vehicles are ready, reliable, and available for customers.
