American/ Green Card holder Captain - 80ft Private Yacht
About The Position
Seeking an experienced American citizen or Green Card holder Captain to join an 80ft private yacht based in Miami Beach. This is an excellent opportunity to join a wonderful New York-based family with a well-supported and professionally managed program. The management company provides dedicated interior and exterior maintenance support, ensuring the vessel is consistently maintained to a high standard. We are looking for an active, energetic, and hands-on Captain who enjoys owner interaction and takes pride in running a smooth operation. This position is ideally suited for someone already based in the Miami area who can easily commute to the vessel. The yacht primarily operates in South Florida, typically cruising twice per week. A rotational Mate and Stewardess are provided by the management company. This is a well-organized, uncomplicated program with strong shoreside support, a private yacht with family-oriented owners. Requirements
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
- All certificates and documentation up to date
- Proven experience as Captain on similar-sized private yachts
- Demonstrated longevity in previous positions
- Minimum 150 GT Captain's License
