We are currently seeking an experienced Captain for our Part 91 Gulfstream G600 operation based in San Jose, CA (KSJC). Candidates must hold a current Gulfstream G600 (GVII) type rating and either reside within a two-hour driving distance of the aircraft base or be willing to relocate.

Requirements

  • Current Gulfstream G600 (GVII) type rating required
  • Minimum 200 hours in G600
  • 3,500 hours total flight time
  • 2,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
  • 1,000 hours turbine time
  • ATP Certificate required
  • Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate
  • Valid and unexpired Driver's License required
  • Valid and unexpired Passport required
  • Must reside within a two-hour driving distance of San Jose, CA (KSJC), or relocate within the required timeframe
  • Unrestricted ability to travel globally
  • Successfully complete all required interviews, technical evaluations, and pre-employment requirements as part of the Clay Lacy Aviation selection process.
  • Successfully complete all DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screening, background checks, and participate in random drug and alcohol testing as required.
  • Submit clear, legible, color copies (front and back) of all applicable FAA certificates and documents (including ATP Certificate and First-Class Medical) along with the required disclosure form as part of the application process.
  • This position is classified as safety-sensitive under DOT/FAA drug and alcohol regulations.

  • Operate the aircraft safely and professionally in accordance with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company policies, Operations Specifications, Standard Operating Procedures, and the Company Operations Manual.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.
  • Complete all required training and maintain applicable certifications.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
