About The Position
Mizuho is seeking an Analyst to join the Capital Structure Solutions team within its Debt Capital Markets franchise. The team provides liability management, hybrid capital, and sustainable finance solutions to clients across industries and the ratings spectrum. The Analyst supports transaction origination and execution, develops financial models and databases, prepares presentation materials, and works with clients and internal and external stakeholders on live transactions. The role also involves identifying new business opportunities with DCM and banking coverage teams and reviewing transaction documentation. Requirements
- Strong interest in capital markets and corporate finance.
- Strong understanding of fixed-income products, financial markets, and capital market dynamics.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, financial modeling, and fixed-income valuation.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer does not sponsor work visas or provide employment-based immigration sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Series 79 and Series 63 licenses are preferred.
Responsibilities

- Collaborate with DCM and banking coverage teams to identify new business opportunities.
- Liaise with clients, internal deal teams, external legal counsel, and other key stakeholders during live transactions.
- Review transaction-related documentation.
