The position also includes supervising resident engineers overseeing construction, managing feasibility studies, and reviewing planning and contract documents to ensure compatibility with University standards. The Capital Project Manager is responsible for preparing financial analyses, preliminary cost estimates, and managing project budgets. They will serve as the University's representative to various agencies and organizations, perform complex problem-solving, and maintain current knowledge of applicable regulations and codes. The role requires the ability to access most areas of construction sites for inspections and to promote continuous improvement and customer service.
