About The Position

The Capital Investment Coordinator supports the Capital Management Committee by evaluating capital investment requests, performing financial modeling and business case analysis, and providing data-driven recommendations for funding decisions. Partners with cross-functional stakeholders, assess project feasibility, analyze financial impacts, identify investment alternatives, and prioritize capital expenditures that align with organizational objectives. Responsible for developing executive-level insights that support effective capital allocation and maximize business value.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in financial modeling and analysis, with a strong understanding of capital investment metrics including Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Return on Invested Capital (ROIC), and Payback Period.
  • Must reside within the geographic area of the role (Georgia and or Kentucky) - relocation assistance not offered.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven ability to clearly translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including Power Query and add-ins) and Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, model evaluation, and emerging AI technologies, with experience integrating AI solutions into existing business workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, or related field - preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese - preferred

Responsibilities

  • Creates business cases and collaborates with various functions and leads reviews with key stakeholders.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to conduct feasibility studies and financial analyses (ROIC, IRR, Payback).
  • Evaluates projects for procedural compliance and accuracy, while reviewing requirements and discrepancies with project owners.
  • Submits and presents project alternatives and makes recommendations to the Capital Committee.
  • Balances multiple projects to meet stakeholder goals and expectations.
  • Monitor and track monthly capital expenditures, prepare and distribute reports, analyze data for trends and discrepancies, reconcile reports with budgets.
