Under the direction of the Capital Projects Manager, the Capital Assistant Maintenance Technician will assist the Capital Maintenance Technician as instructed for projects such as flooring installation, water heater installation, and more. The Capital Assistant Maintenance Technician assures that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable and attractive manner. Follows established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies. Follows established Universal Precautions when performing housekeeping procedures. Replaces burned out light bulbs, to include exit lights, fluorescent lights, emergency lights, and nurse call lights, and performs routine cleaning in high areas. Changes filters on HVAC units. Removes dirt, dust, grease, film, etc. from surfaces using proper cleaning solutions. Discards waste and trash into proper containers and relines trash receptacles with plastic liners. Reports all hazardous conditions or equipment to the Facilities Director. Reports all unusual activity by residents or others, affecting safety or security of other residents or of Paradise Valley Estates in general to the Facilities Director.
