About The Position

The Capital Asset Accountant ensures that investments in property assets are tracked, protected, and optimized across the resort. This role involves blending analytical work with the dynamic pace of hospitality operations. Under the general supervision of the Controller, the accountant is responsible for maintaining fixed asset records, entering accurate financial data, developing inventory policies and procedures, reporting, and performing other related tasks. The role includes identifying the organization's fixed assets, calculating depreciation, and ensuring assets are tracked and maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Confidentiality of financial information is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting plus directly related asset accounting work experience is required.
• Must be 21 years of age to meet gaming licensing requirements.
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, random drug and controlled substance abuse tests, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license in Arizona and California.

• Native American preference and/or experience with Native American culture and government preferred.
• Tribal preference given to enrolled tribal members.
