They then work with Fab Engineering & Production leadership to resolve such production constraints. This specific position is planned to have a specific focus on Investment planning and investment strategy, driving investment strategies with Line Planning to ensure optimal investment allocation to maximize profit and utilization for the foreseeable future. A current primary focus for this role is to coordinate the 17nm Investment Ramp up, this entails determining which tools can be removed from the factory as well as how many investment tools should be purchased to support planned volume. A significant portion of this initiative is to manage capacity improvement projects to help resolve shortages or provide additional capacity on constraining processes. A key target for this team is to maximize and increase output capability for the Factory to exceed what we are invested for and increasing ROI and profit margins from our current baseline. Cost savings support and coordination has become a significant focal point for this role over the past 2+ years.
