About The Position

We are seeking a new team member who has specific experience managing provider schedules and knowledge of patient appointment scheduling, physician office operations and EPIC. The Capacity Management Specialist executes all assigned physician and ancillary master scheduling requests to ensure the creation and edits to master schedules meet VCU Health guidelines.

Requirements

• Two years’ experience in managing/maintaining provider schedule templates.
• Demonstrated past IT analyst experience may substitute for clinic/provider schedule maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated experience in process/system design or process improvement.
• Must have strong written and oral communication, work in a team environment, be able to focus with attention to detail, be able to work independently, organize workload to provide reliable follow through and meet timelines/deadlines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Three or more years’ experience in managing/maintaining provider schedule templates.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related academic field strongly preferred.
