About The Position

The Capacitor Assembler position is based at Eaton’s Emerald Road facility in Greenwood, SC. The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. The hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm. Please note that the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Requirements

Responsibilities

Be proficient in slitting, cutting, and folding major insulation paper.
Work closely with the Group Leader, Job Setter, and Production Supervisor to meet safety, production, and quality requirements.
Review and follow the daily work schedule.
Communicate schedule needs to the Job Setter to ensure required materials are available and inventory is verified.
Review specifications and required drawings to ensure proper machine setup.
Assemble capacitor units using banding machines, crimpers, and other small hand tools as required.
Train and assist other team members as needed.
Meet departmental safety and productivity goals.
Ensure compliance with quality procedures, including quality alerts, process deviation requirements, proper functioning of error‑proofing devices, and adherence to all Visual Operating Procedures (VOPs).
Complete required 5S+ activities on a daily basis.
