About The Position

Shawmut Services is seeking talented, driven individuals for the role of canvasser in Denver Colorado to participate in a door to door voter engagement program. As a Canvasser, you will go door to door in the Denver area and speak with voters about important non-partisan issues. This is an in-person position with a minimum requirement of working three six-hour shifts per week. Entry-level position, no experience necessary. Canvassers earn $25/hr and can earn over $1000+ Per Week! Weekly pay every Friday! Extensive paid training provided. $10 gas stipend per shift provided for drivers. Working with Shawmut Services is great fit if you care about the direction of our city and want to get involved with your local community, are looking for flexible hours (you can choose which days you work each week and can work part-time or full time), and are looking to gain experience and learn valuable skills that can jumpstart your career in campaigns, community organizing, or politics. Canvassers will be working throughout the Denver area.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be U.S. Citizens
Must have access to reliable personal transportation
Must be friendly and enjoy talking to people
Must have the physical stamina to stand/walk for long periods (up to 6 hours per day) while meeting and talking to people
Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends

Responsibilities

Go door to door in the Denver area and speak with voters about important non-partisan issues.
Approach voters and start a conversation.
Memorize and recite scripts and statements prepared and provided by Shawmut Services.
