About The Position

Named by the Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the last four years, our community-based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks a full-time Cantonese- or Mandarin-speaking CNA to join its expanding Home Care Aide team. This is a TRAVEL position. Reliable access to a car is required. Care is provided in patients’ private homes and residential facilities throughout Greater Boston and parts of MetroWest. Most of our patients’ locations are not accessible by public transportation.

Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Massachusetts with a minimum of 75 hours of clinical study, including classroom training and a minimum of 16 hours of supervised practical training.
• Cantonese or Mandarin speaker
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Clear communication
• Contribute as part of a collaborative team
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Reliable access to a car

Nice To Haves

• Hospice, Palliative or Oncology experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, consistent, and quality care for patients at the end of life.
• Assist with daily hygiene, ambulation, exercise, toileting, and nutritional support.
• Perform dressing changes and other activities as designated by the hospice nurse.
