About The Position
Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for Temporary Cannabis Trimmers to work at their production facility about half an hour north of the Queensbury, New York, area. This is a 2 week temporary assignment. The role involves grating, sorting, weighing and logging harvest flower material, trimming flower with exceptional attention to detail, and precisely measuring product. The position also requires maintaining a sanitary work environment and following all safety protocols.
Requirements
- 1+ year experience working in a food production, manufacturing, or landscaping environment.
- Ability to stand, sit, climb, twist, and kneel up to 8 hours/day
- Ability and experience with performing repetitive movements with your hands up to 8 hours/day
- Ability to work in climates with varying temperatures
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to take direction
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Proven work ethic and reliable transportation
- Ability to arrive on time
- Ability to wear N95 mask while around cannabis product.
- Ability to be around plant pollen for 8 hour period of time
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be eligible to work for a licensed cannabis company in the State of New York
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year experience in trimming Cannabis at a rate of 2+ pounds/day
