About The Position

Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for temporary Cannabis Packaging Technicians to work for a two-week assignment at their production facility 10 mins South of Modesto, CA. The role requires an exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to arrive on time ready to give 100%. The company is a thriving Cannabis company. The position involves wiping down oil residue from filled vape cartridges, applying CA warning labels, boxing them, applying tamper seals to the boxes, applying compliance labels to the boxes, and packaging the boxes into sales/master cases. There may also be opportunities to collect samples and perform tests to ensure quality. Various other processing tasks may be assigned as needed. While experience packaging cannabis is not required, experience adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures is necessary. Attention to detail and the ability to closely follow standard operating procedures are essential. The role requires the ability to sit, stand, twist, and kneel for up to 8 hours at a time. This is a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements

Ability to stand, sit, climb, twist, and kneel up to 8 hours/day
Ability to perform repetitive motions with your hands
Ability to work in climates with varying temperatures
Attention to detail
Willingness to take direction
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Proven work ethic and reliable transportation
Ability to arrive on time
Willingness to comply with OSHA regulations
Ability to wear N95 mask while around cannabis product
Ability to be around plant pollen for 8 hour period of time
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be eligible to work for a licensed cannabis company in the State of California
Experience adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures
Ability to closely follow standard operating procedures
