About The Position

Dogtopia, a leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services, is seeking energetic and organized individuals to join their team as Canine Coaches. This role is central to maintaining a safe and fun environment for dogs in the playroom. Candidates must have a strong love for dogs of all types and be proactive in promoting their development as well-behaved canine citizens. Upon successful completion of training, employees have the opportunity to bring their own dogs to work.

Requirements

Must love dogs.
Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing.
Ability to work flexible days and hours, including holidays and weekends.
Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Education in basic dog obedience and training.
Additional certification programs available.
Learn key skills related to customer service, teamwork, or sales.

Responsibilities

Maintain control of large groups of dogs.
Keep playrooms clean of messes at all times, including mopping, sweeping, trash removal, and water refills.
Be proactive in ensuring dogs are always in a clean and safe environment.
Perform meal preparation with little or no guidance.
Properly store daycare and boarding belongings with correct labels.
Bathe and nail clip dogs when needed (training provided).
Learn to identify dog breeds and behaviors.
Report dog scuffles immediately for safe wound cleaning if necessary.
Work with the team to ensure high standards of care.
Care for all furry friends as if they were part of your family.
Engage, play with, and enjoy the furry friends.
Lead the playroom by creating a safe and fun environment.
Set the highest standards and satisfaction for customers.
