About The Position
Elmer Chocolate is the oldest family-owned chocolate company in America. Our factory in Ponchatoula is the 2nd-largest manufacturer of Valentine boxed chocolate in North America. Our automated robotic machinery makes the chocolate, and then associates place the trays & lids on an assembly line and box the displays for store shelves. Chat with fellow Associates as you smell delicious caramel and sweet sugar! This role involves working in a chilly air-conditioned environment.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old.
- Pass drug screen(s).
- Reliable transportation.
- Dependable attendance.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends if needed.
Responsibilities
- Place trays and lids on an assembly line.
- Box displays for store shelves.
- Perform cleaning duties on alternating Fridays.
