About The Position

This position is in Cargill's Food Enterprise, which serves food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. The portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa, and chocolate. The role involves the manufacturing of kitchen products such as molding, dipping, confectionery center creation, fudge, and packing finished product.

Requirements

Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Minimum of 18 years old.
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 55lbs, kneeling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work with changing priorities and in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours per day.
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).

Nice To Haves

Previous food production experience.
Previous candy making experience or baking experience.
Degree or certificate in pastry arts.
High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

Manufacture kitchen products (molding, dipping, confectionery center creation, fudge, packing finished product) by following production plans and the work order process.
Process customer special order requests.
Prepare production equipment and maintain a clean production environment daily, accurately completing FSQR documentation for cleaning schedules and work orders.
Operate the chocolate enrobing line, including start-up and breakdown.
Understand and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
Read and understand a weight scale.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
