Requirements

  • Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
  • Attendance to work is an essential function of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Understands and adheres to SOP requirements, GMP practices and job specific packaging procedures.
  • Reads and understands packaging procedures prior to each job.
  • Performs a variety of manual tasks associated with the packaging of pharmaceutical products for both clinical and commercial jobs.
  • Monitors production output for quality and accuracy.
  • Counts product and confirms issued quantities.
  • Undertakes a detailed inspection of labels and foils for print correctness, sequencing of numbers, expiry dates, lot numbers, legibility of print, alignment of print, properly formed foil blisters, etc.
  • Identifies quality issues or concerns and brings these to the attention of the Line Leader, Shift Lead and/or Production Manager for appropriate action.
  • Lends assistance to Quality Assurance with regards to in-process inspection if/as required.
  • May assist in picking materials for job runs.
  • Uses Tropo's ERP system accurately to electronically sign into production orders to track man hours.
  • Cleans and maintains packaging room as required throughout the week.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
