About The Position

The Campus Technology Operations Specialist is a hands-on, fully on-site role within Campus Technology Operations, the on-campus technology function of the Digital Experience (DX) team at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA). This position plays a direct and visible role in supporting the day-to-day technology experience of staff, artists, and operational teams across campus. This role is rooted in execution, reliability, and technical curiosity. It requires someone who is energized by solving problems in real time, comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, and motivated to continuously learn and improve. The Specialist supports hardware, software, networking, and end-user systems across Lincoln Center’s offices and venues, contributing to a stable, responsive, and service-oriented technology presence.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of hands-on IT support experience in a professional environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and macOS platforms.
  • Experience supporting printers, mobile devices, and conferencing tools.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience working within a ticketing system (ServiceNow preferred).
  • Comfort working fully on-site in a dynamic, high-visibility environment.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and remain calm under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA Network+ certification (or actively pursuing).
  • Experience with endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, Jamf).
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, physical networking fundamentals).
  • Experience supporting environments with live events or high operational tempo.
  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with structured IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site support for Windows and macOS devices.
  • Troubleshoot printers, peripherals, docking stations, and mobile devices.
  • Respond to and resolve ServiceNow incidents and service requests.
  • Deliver professional, customer-focused support to staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Support audiovisual and conferencing technologies in office and meeting environments.
  • Receive, configure, deploy, and refresh laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
  • Maintain accurate device records within the established inventory system.
  • Support device retirement and lifecycle processes according to internal standards.
  • Assist with endpoint management tools and device compliance processes.
  • Support common enterprise applications and productivity tools.
  • Assist with basic account administration in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Troubleshoot access, authentication, and endpoint-related issues.
  • Escalate complex system-level issues appropriately while maintaining ownership of the ticket lifecycle.
  • Perform basic physical networking tasks, including patching, port verification, and cable management.
  • Troubleshoot wired and wireless connectivity issues.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure teams when advanced network intervention is required.
  • Participate in a rotational schedule for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.
  • Support critical campus operations and events during extended hours as needed.
