Campus Solutions Systems Analyst
About The Position
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is hiring a Campus Solutions System Analyst. This role reports to the Director of Student Systems and is responsible for supporting and enhancing the university's student information system and other student-related systems. The analyst will apply technological and business solutions, leveraging PeopleSoft developer skills, technical expertise, and functional knowledge to support various student-facing departments. This involves learning and supporting modules within PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (Campus Community, Admissions, Academic Advising, Financial Aid, Student Records, and Student Financials) as well as other software like Civitas and Twilio. The position serves as an IT point of contact for system design, development, and configuration to improve the student experience. The role requires substantial experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Oracle databases, SQL, PeopleCode, reporting tools, data interfaces, and data process automation. The analyst must be adaptable to shifting priorities, provide exceptional customer service, and possess strong communication and collaboration skills. As a remote position, the analyst works from home during standard business hours and uses Microsoft Teams for communication.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant work experience in Information Technology, preferably within Higher Education.
- Solid experience supporting Student Information System (SIS) administration, with a strong preference for hands-on experience using PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
- A solid understanding of relational database fundamentals (preferably Oracle).
- Demonstrated experience with SQL, PeopleCode, and Fluid technology.
Responsibilities
- Support and enhance the University’s student information system and other student-related systems.
- Apply technological and business solutions to meet university needs.
- Support functional teams and business processes for student-facing departments.
- Learn and support modules of the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions system.
- Support other ancillary student system software, such as Civitas and Twilio.
- Serve as an IT point of contact in the design, development, and configuration of the system to improve the student experience.
- Utilize PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Oracle databases, SQL, PeopleCode, reporting tools, data interfaces, and data process automation.
- Provide professional and exceptional customer service to colleagues.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate across teams, departments, and the university community.
- Serve as an individual contributor, team member, or leader depending on project needs.
