Campus Services Officer
About The Position
The Campus Services Officer enforces university parking regulations and secures university buildings. The position provides motorists with assistance, including jump-starting dead batteries and unlocking cars, and supports parking operations for special events and athletic activities. This position is designated as essential personnel. The position is classified staff in the Police-Parking Enforcement department, with an employee classification of Security Officer III. It is a 40-hour-per-week position with some nights and weekends. A valid driver's license is required, and successful candidates must complete a criminal background check.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of parking regulations.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and move 50 pounds.
- Ability to work with the public.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver's license.
