About The Position

Joffe Emergency Services is seeking a professional and dependable full-time Campus Safety Officer (CSO) to support a school campus in the Beverly Glen area. This position follows a Monday–Friday from 7:30am–4pm schedule. This role goes beyond traditional security — Campus Safety Officers are trusted members of the school community who help foster a safe, positive, and supportive campus environment. Ideal candidates are calm under pressure, approachable, observant, and comfortable working with students, staff, and families on a daily basis.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Must have an active Guard Card
Must have an active CPR certificate
Customer service experience required
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working independently and in dynamic environments
Ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations
Must be able to read and write English fluently

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 6-months of security experience preferred
Experience working with children or students preferred

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure campus environment for students, staff, and visitors
Serve as a visible and approachable presence throughout campus
Respond to campus incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns
Monitor student behavior and help enforce school policies and procedures
Conduct routine patrols and safety inspections of campus grounds and facilities
Assist with traffic flow, parking, and visitor access
Write detailed incident reports and document security-related activity
Support school administration with safety and security needs as requested
Assist with campus investigations, including reviewing camera footage and gathering information
Help ensure campus buildings and facilities are properly secured
Build positive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and local law enforcement
