About The Position
This position is for a Campus Security Monitor at I. S. JHS. The role requires 9 months of work with 7.0 hours per day. To be eligible, applicants must have completed a three-year work history in the “Experience and Credentials” section of their application, including periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work, and have uploaded the required documentation.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Experience working with children and youth.
- Successful completion of Clark County School District Campus Security Monitor training (online modules, physical agility test, defensive tactics training) prior to the start date.
- A valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or similar organization (must be maintained, in-person training with hands-on component required).
- Current Clark County School District Campus Security Monitor certificate (must be maintained).
Responsibilities
- Monitor campus to ensure the safety and security of students and staff.
- Enforce school rules and regulations.
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies.
- Conduct security patrols.
- Assist with student supervision as needed.
