About The Position

GardaWorld is hiring a Campus Security Guard in Blue Bell, PA. This role requires an active driver's license and CPR certificate. The compensation is $17.50 per hour for a shift on Saturday and Sunday from 11 PM to 7 AM, totaling 16 hours per week. As a Campus Security Officer, you will be responsible for interior and exterior patrols, deterring vagrants, supervising employees, maintaining client relationships, exercising independent judgment, observing and reporting on activities, regulating traffic, de-escalating altercations, and responding rapidly in critical situations.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent (GED)
• Able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• 1 year of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is required
• State license if required.
• Ability to read and write detailed reports
• Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards.
• ACTIVE Driver's License
• CPR Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Interior and exterior foot patrols around the property
• Deter vagrants from property
• Supervise & manage employees at your assigned job site.
• Maintain a healthy, professional relationship with our client, at the assigned site
• Exercise independent judgement and sound decision making in performing all duties.
• Observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• Regulating traffic, enforcing traffic laws on property
• De-escalate verbal altercations
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
