About The Position

Hastings College is seeking dedicated individuals to join us as a Campus Safety Officer for our night shift. This full-time position involves a 12-hour rotating schedule with every other weekend off. The role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure educational environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This includes monitoring the campus, investigating potential issues, assisting with building security access, managing crowd control at events, and completing incident reports. The Campus Safety Officer will conduct active and random campus patrols, investigate incidents, respond to emergencies and complaints, manage security access points, coordinate security planning, and operate technical security systems.

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED is required.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Residential housing management experience is preferred.
Security experience is preferred.
Corrections experience is preferred.
Law enforcement experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
