About The Position

The Campus Safety Dispatcher will work on night shift (7PM until 7AM) as an emergency dispatcher for campus safety officers. Dispatchers must be able to handle a wide variety of stress-inducing emergency situations ranging from requests for medical assistance, fire alarms, and other kinds of volatile situations.

Requirements

• Excellent computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-year experience involving substantial public contact.
• Must go through a pre-employment criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• Prior dispatcher/operator experience in a college setting is preferred.
