The Auraria Campus is located in the Platte River Valley in downtown Denver and serves over 39,000 students and approximately 5,000 faculty and staff from the Community College of Denver, Metropolitan State University of Denver, and the University of Colorado Denver. This is a sponsored position to an accredited police academy. The Auraria Campus Police Department will pay for all costs associated with the Arapahoe Community College Police Academy and pay the salary for selected applicants. This position is located in the Auraria Campus Police Department. The Auraria Campus Police Department provides the full spectrum of Law Enforcement services (emergency, non-emergency, technical and communications support) to the Auraria Campus Community as State of Colorado Peace Officers. This position requires rotating shift work. You must be willing and able to work shift work.
