About The Position

The Campus Ops Associate provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure the campus functions with excellence and clarity. By managing communications, maintaining organizational systems, and ensuring regulatory compliance, this role creates a firm foundation for ministry to flourish. The Campus Administrator ensures that every person engaging with the campus—whether online or in person—receives clear information and a seamless path toward connection. Requirements

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience/willingness to learn using church management systems (CCB), scheduling tools, and communication platforms like Mailchimp and Gloo.
  • Administrative Excellence: Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail, specifically regarding data entry and compliance records.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills across digital and social media platforms.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn and implement, California AB 506 regulations and safety protocols.
  • Mission Alignment: A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and full alignment with the vision of Sandals Church.

Responsibilities

  • Calendar Oversight: Manage and maintain the church calendar, ensuring all events are accurately scheduled and aligned with the Sandals Church Master Calendar.
  • Platform Maintenance: Update and maintain the church app and webpage with current events and relevant information.
  • CCB Platform Management: Manage the Church Community Builder (CCB) platform, keeping campus process queues up to date to ensure no one slips through the cracks.
  • Multi-Channel Communication: Oversee all church communications to ensure a consistent voice and brand across all platforms.
  • Email & Text Campaigns: Execute email campaigns (e.g., Mailchimp) and manage text communication platforms (e.g., Gloo).
  • Social Media: Manage social media presence across all channels to keep the community engaged and informed.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure full compliance with California AB 506 regulations for all youth and children’s ministry onboarding.
  • Background Checks: Coordinate and schedule Livescans for campus volunteers and staff.
  • Training Records: Maintain meticulous records of mandated reporter trainings and track renewal dates for all volunteers.
  • Volunteer Integration: Facilitate the onboarding process for new volunteers and manage group help requests.
  • Guest Follow-Up: Ensure timely and intentional follow-up for all new guests via the CCB platform.
