About The Position

Decision Point is an evangelical nonprofit ministry dedicated to proclaiming the gospel to the next generation. We focus on equipping, sending, and reaching students on their school campuses and online. Through partnerships with local churches, student leaders, and communities across the country, we help students become courageous witnesses for Christ among their peers. Today, Decision Point serves students across the United States and beyond. We are actively expanding the mission through both local campus ministry and online coaching initiatives. We believe the next generation desperately needs the hope of the gospel. It is Jesus alone who can save and set them free. Requirements

• Ministry leadership experience in church or para-church setting.
• Experience recruiting, building and leading teams.
• Passion for Evangelism and Strong Leader: Embodies contagious courage for the gospel. Models personally sharing the gospel. A strong leader that successfully invites people to join and advance the mission together. Driven, takes initiative, and teachable. Effective recruiter, builder and leader of teams, including volunteers, student leaders, interns and staff. Entrepreneurial thinking is especially helpful in this role.
• Mobilizer and Multiplier: Recruit and build teams, develop leaders, and mobilize others around a shared vision for reaching students with the gospel. Invest in students, volunteers, and ministry partners so the mission grows far beyond the efforts of any one individual.
• Inspiring Communicator: Visionary and effective communicator who thrives at energizing others through personal conversation and public speaking. Our leaders inspire confidence and motivate people to take action with the mission and for the gospel. Inspire action with clarity, conviction, and contagious courage.
• People Person and Natural Networker: Build strong relationships that inspire trust and engagement in the mission. Discern needs, spot opportunities, and encourage with the gospel. Call people to Jesus and the mission while cultivating partnerships with churches, pastors, parents, teachers and Christian leaders.
• Gospel-Grounded Christ Follower: Committed to God’s Word, loves Jesus, and fueled by prayer. Leads with spiritual maturity, Christlike character and courage in advancing the mission.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Decision Point’s ministry efforts throughout the area.
• Build, manage and lead a coalition of like-minded churches, pastors, and believers—rallying together to support a student-led gospel movement on school campuses across the area and beyond.
• Spend significant time in the field developing relationships with students, youth pastors, church leaders, and community partners while equipping young leaders to share the gospel on their campuses.
• Coach Youth Pastors and Community Leaders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with youth pastors, church leaders, parents, educators, and community stakeholders.
• Help churches engage students in meaningful evangelism and discipleship opportunities.
• Recruit and mobilize volunteer coaches to equip students to reach their schools with the 5 Gospel Challenges.
• Represent Decision Point within the broader Christian community throughout the area.
• Coach and disciple student leaders as they grow in their faith and witness for Christ.
• Equip students to share the gospel with their peers and reach their schools with the 5 Gospel Challenges.
• Train and take students out to share the gospel at their schools and community.
• Encourage students to develop leadership skills that will impact their schools and communities for years to come.
• Cast a compelling vision for reaching every student and every school across the area and the surrounding region with the gospel.
• Identify opportunities to expand ministry impact and strengthen local outreach efforts.
• Lead and support ministry initiatives that advance Decision Point’s mission and strategic goals.
• Invest in ministry leaders and help them reach their full potential.
• Provide encouragement, accountability, and practical guidance to students and ministry partners.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, courage for the gospel, and gospel-centered leadership.

Benefits

• Salary Range: $50,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
• Training, coaching, encouragement, and ongoing support throughout all staff support raising efforts.
