The Campus Minister for Justice and Solidarity leads student formation and co-curricular learning focused on justice, solidarity, service, and community engagement. This position integrates Catholic social teaching and the spirituality and charism of the Sisters of the Holy Cross into service and justice programming while creating opportunities that welcome and engage students from diverse faith backgrounds. The Campus Minister oversees the Beyond the Belle and Spes Service Experience programs, including program development, logistics, student recruitment and preparation, reflection and integration, and student leader development. The position supervises student community engagement leaders, Spes Service Experience leaders, and interns involved in justice and advocacy programming. The Campus Minister collaborates across campus to strengthen experiential learning opportunities and develops and maintains meaningful relationships with local community organizations and ministry partners. This position also provides ongoing mentorship and pastoral care to students and contributes to initiatives that advance the mission of Saint Mary’s College as a Catholic and Holy Cross institution.
