The Washington DC Campus Manager provides leadership, management, and supervision of all day-to-day operations of Pepperdine’s Washington DC campus. Ensuring world-class operations and hospitality, this position is responsible for providing exquisite service to the faculty, staff, students, and guests who utilize the campus. The breadth of responsibility includes oversight of: the campuses’ facilities, security, and property management; space scheduling and configuration; coordination with academic programs; revenue-generating opportunities with external guests; customer experience of all who utilize the campus; coordination of campus events; emergency response; and vendor management. The Washington DC Campus Manager is in the Chief Operating Officer (COO) division and reports to the Assistant Vice President of Business Services Administration. Because the direct supervisor for this role is located in another state and the position does not maintain any direct reports, the ideal candidate must be highly self-driven and independent, with a proven ability to manage day-to-day campus operations autonomously. As a member of the COO division, the Washington DC Campus Manager supports the entire COO division and helps meet department goals and priorities through collaboration, initiative, and follow-through.
