About The Position

The Grill Cook position is an essential part of our culinary team, responsible for preparing and cooking grilled menu items in accordance with daily menus, recipes, and food quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Grill Cook works closely with the kitchen team to ensure meals are prepared safely, accurately, and on time. We are a supportive team that values respect, collaboration, and professional growth. Requirements

Must be flexible, dependable, and team-oriented.
At least 1 year of grill cook, line cook, or culinary experience preferred.
Knowledge of proper grilling techniques, food handling, and kitchen safety practices.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Punctual and able to adhere to attendance and scheduling requirements.
Ability to stand for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Interest in and commitment to Genuine Foods' mission to use food to enhance students' minds, bodies, and happiness.
Must be able to work in a school environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook grilled foods according to recipes, specifications, and production schedules.
Ensure all food is prepared and served in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation throughout service.
Coordinate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked grill station.
Assist with food preparation, kitchen setup, and cleanup duties as needed.
Follow all health, safety, and company policies and procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
