About The Position

The Campus Administrator is responsible and accountable for planning and directing the clinical, financial, and operational leadership of hospital-based departments and assigned support services, including Environmental Services, Safety, onsite Security Services, and Food and Nutrition Services. The role facilitates and directs annual planning, budgeting, evaluation, selection, contracting, implementation, and championing of Support Services, systems, and projects. The Campus Administrator ensures assigned services meet or exceed applicable regulatory and Joint Commission requirements. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration, Business, Public Administration, or a related field.
Experience planning and directing administrative and fiscal services, operations, and management analysis in a healthcare delivery organization.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree.
Five years of experience administering The Joint Commission standards, with particular familiarity with Environment of Care standards and requirements.
Five years of increasingly responsible and successful management experience, preferably within a large healthcare system.

Responsibilities

Lead and direct programs, services, and operations of assigned Support Services to ensure customer-oriented, efficient, effective, quality, and regulatory-compliant service.
Coordinate the planning and development of long- and short-range goals and objectives for assigned Support Services, and implement approved programs, policies, and procedures.
Oversee local Support Services to ensure systems, processes, and documentation comply with regulatory requirements.
Serve as the primary Environment of Care point of contact during facility inspections and surveys.
Develop, manage, and evaluate the annual operating budget for assigned services.
