About The Position

At Spruce Street Compliance, we provide compliance services and operational support to Democratic and progressive campaigns, PACs, and advocacy organizations across the country. Our work includes supporting some of the country’s most high-profile campaigns and organizations, like Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Dan Osborn for Senate, Turn PA Blue, and the Asian Pacific Islander Political Alliance.

This position reports to the firm's Compliance Assistants and Associates. The Campaign Finance Intern works in-person in our offices alongside our current Compliance Associates and Assistants to complete the daily tasks associated with oversight and compliance for our clients.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet strict deadlines
• Willingness to take initiative
• Commitment to supporting progressive causes
• Commitment to working within a diverse and inclusive workspace

Responsibilities

• Pick up client mail and donations
• Assist with client data entry and bank deposits
• Help prepare and edit campaign finance reports
• Compose and mail out compliance correspondence
• Complete additional tasks assigned by Associates, Managers, and President
