About The Position

The Art Farm NYC is hiring Lead Camp Teachers and Assistant Camp Teachers for Summer 2026. These roles support a dynamic camp program for children ages 2–10, featuring arts & crafts, outdoor play, nature exploration, and hands-on learning activities. This is a structured, team-based environment where staff are expected to be engaged, reliable, and safety-focused while creating a fun and positive experience for campers.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in an active, fast-paced environment
• Interest in working with children in a camp or educational setting
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check and screening

Responsibilities

• Supervise and actively engage children in a safe, structured environment
• Lead or assist with arts & crafts, games, and outdoor activities
• Follow camp schedules and lesson plans (Lead Teachers)
• Support daily transitions, routines, and group management
• Encourage positive behavior, teamwork, and creativity
• Maintain a clean and organized camp space
• Communicate professionally with families and team members
• Follow all health, safety, and emergency procedures
• Attend required training and staff meetings
