The Retail Coordinator will select, purchase, and customize catalog retail products for the Market Place stores and will provide administrative support to maintain each store’s inventory, transfers, and adjustments. The Retail Coordinator will receive direction from the Regional Director of Operations regarding retail business strategy and financial goals. The Retail Coordinator will work closely with each property's General Manager in determining product needs, administrative procedures, and physical inventory status.

  • High school diploma or actively enrolled to achieve a degree.
  • Previous retail experience

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest-friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of guest service.
  • Effectively operate the POS system to correctly assign payments for tickets and merchandise, including accepting payments and providing accurate change.
  • Stock shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise.
  • Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
  • Obtain merchandise requested by the customer or receive merchandise selected by the customer.
  • Answer customer questions concerning location, price, and use of the merchandise.
  • Total price and tax on merchandise purchased by the customer to determine the bill.
  • Accept payment and make a change. Wrap or bag merchandise for customers.
  • Remove and record the amount of cash in the register at the end of the shift.
  • Calculate sales discount to determine the price.
  • Keep a sales record, prepare an inventory, and order merchandise.
  • Keep the showroom clean and orderly.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Provides regular and reliable attendance.
