About The Position
The Montana Hospital Association is hiring Temporary Camp Resident Assistants to support Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) summer camps for high school students. This paid opportunity includes travel throughout Montana, overnight supervision in residence halls, and support for evening activities. It is ideal for individuals 18+ who enjoy working with youth, including college students, educators, and professionals seeking meaningful summer work. A background check is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to be responsible, approachable, and maintain appropriate boundaries
- Comfortable with overnight supervision responsibilities
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in a variety of situations
- Comfortable staying overnight in campus housing
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with high school-aged youth preferred
