We offer a diverse and rewarding work environment where YOU can make a difference! Camp Via West, is seeking a Camp Rentals & Partnerships Lead to grow and manage our year-round camp rental program. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven business development professional who enjoys community outreach, partnership building, and generating earned revenue in a mission-aligned environment. The Camp Rentals & Partnerships Lead is responsible for building and maintaining a strong rental pipeline through targeted outreach, relationship-building, and brand presence in the local community. This position plays a key role in increasing year-round rental revenue while strengthening Camp Via West’s visibility, partnerships, and long-term sustainability. Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or revenue-generating roles, preferably within hospitality, retreats, events, outdoor education, real estate, or destination-based services.
  • Demonstrated success building and managing a sales pipeline, from lead generation through contract execution.
  • Strong ability to network locally, build trust-based relationships, and convert connections into repeat business.
  • Experience identifying, pursuing, and securing group bookings, rentals, or service contracts.
  • Comfort working independently in a part-time, flexible role with accountability for revenue outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with professional relation building focus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track leads, opportunities, and partnerships using CRM tools or similar systems.
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work toward revenue targets and commission-based incentives.
  • Ability to represent Camp Via West and AbilityPath as a brand ambassador in community and business settings.
  • Willingness and ability to attend networking events, meetings, and outreach activities, including some evenings or weekends.

  • Experience selling group retreats, venue rentals, camps, conferences, or event-based services.
  • Connection to the mission with existing relationships or strong familiarity with Camp Via West and the local community, nonprofit, education, corporate, or retreat markets.
  • Experience developing strategic or repeat-use partnerships that support year-round utilization.
  • Comfort collaborating with marketing teams to support brand visibility and lead generation campaigns.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms or sales tracking tools and an interest in streamlining sales processes.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify new revenue opportunities and test creative outreach strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic outreach and networking plan to generate leads for camp group rentals.
  • Actively build relationships with local organizations, schools, nonprofits, businesses, and community partners to increase rental demand.
  • Represent Camp Via West at relevant community events, meetings, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand recognition.
  • Support brand awareness efforts that position Camp Via West as a desirable year-round rental and retreat destination.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new group rental opportunities, including schools, nonprofits, community-based organizations, and for-profit businesses interested in volunteer engagement.
  • Manage rental inquiries from initial contact through contract execution, ensuring positive and professional customer experience.
  • Secure rental contracts that support increased utilization and revenue growth.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline the rental sales process, including reducing or eliminating manual tracking systems.
  • Support the development of more efficient tracking, reporting, and documentation practices related to leads, bookings, and revenue.
  • Provide regular reports on outreach activities, rental pipeline status, bookings, and revenue metrics to the Camp Director and CEO.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on outreach materials and campaigns that support rental growth and admissions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support camp rental revenue goals.
