Reporting to the Camp Manager, this position will be a fly in- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada. The Camp Maintenance Lead is responsible for the direction and execution of daily camp maintenance, including all camp infrastructure and equipment such as dormitories, commercial kitchen, dining halls, food storage, power generation, water treatment, wastewater treatment, waste management, network and communications, laundry facilities, recreational spaces, office and meeting spaces, on-site medical clinic, on site airport and air strip, and all common areas. The role involves participating in the creation of the maintenance department’s budget, applying engineering principles, building codes, and regulations to develop and implement maintenance programs, and ensuring accurate data entry and reporting on asset performance. The Lead will also develop a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule, review and update the Maintenance Task list, and oversee compliance with all federal and provincial regulations, safety codes, and standards.
