About The Position

Code Ninjas Riverstone is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Summer Camp Instructors (Sensei). This role offers an opportunity to earn extra money during the summer break while engaging in fun activities, playing games, and working with children. It's an ideal position for college students looking to build their resume, gain real-world experience, and become part of an energetic team. At Code Ninjas, children learn to code by creating video games in a fun, safe, and inspiring setting, with a focus on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The week-long, half-day summer camps are designed to be engaging, hands-on, and memorable for every child. As a Summer Camp Instructor, you will guide children through activities, keep them engaged, and ensure they have an amazing camp experience. This role provides valuable experience in leadership, mentorship, and exposure to STEM and computer science education.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with daily camp activities and curriculum
• Engage with campers and ensure a fun, safe, and inclusive environment
• Support camp instructors and center staff as needed
• Communicate with parents in a friendly and professional manner
• Help with set-up and clean-up of the center each day
• Maintain a positive and high-energy atmosphere throughout camp
