About The Position
For over 20 years, Avid4 Adventure has empowered kids to live active outdoor lifestyles through our unique outdoor programming. This year, we're thrilled to launch the ultimate addition to our camp line-up: MULTI-SPORT BASECAMP at Centennial! Say goodbye to long drives—we're bringing the outdoor thrills, spills, and fun right to a neighborhood near you with our brand-new camp format. We still have our typical summer camps throughout Colorado; Bay Area, California; Portland, Oregon; and Bellevue, Washington. Our Candidate Help Center is here to help you find the best program, location, and position for you!
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of camp.
- Minimum of Basic First Aid, CPR, and Mandatory Reporter certification by the start of camp.
Nice To Haves
- +1 years of experience working with kids in a professional or volunteer setting.
- Experience in onsite activities such as rock wall belaying, bike pump track, and general camp activities.
- Specialized certifications eligible for end-of-season bonuses! $100 - $400 per certification
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in activities such as biking, hiking, and climbing, along with other fun camp games and activities.
- Responsible for risk management and teaching campers how to recreate safely.
- Demonstrate and guide campers in appropriate behavior, attitudes, and activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service to campers, parents, and Avid families.
