About The Position
Beginner’s Edge Sports Training (B.E.S.T.) is looking for energetic and reliable Camp Counselors to join our Arcadia Multi-Sport Summer Camp team! We are passionate about inspiring kids to build confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of sports through safe, fun, and inclusive programs. If you have a love for sports, enjoy working with children, and want a meaningful short-term role this summer — we'd love to meet you!
Requirements
- Must commit to both camp weeks (June 15 – June 26, July 6 - August 21)
- Must be able to stand, walk, or run for at least 1-hour increments
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs
- Reliable transportation required
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with children or sports coaching
Responsibilities
- Lead curriculum-based multi-sport activities
- Encourage skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Supervise groups of up to 20 children actively and safely
- Set up, break down, and maintain sports equipment daily
- Keep an organized, clean, and safe camp environment
- Manage daily attendance and student release
