About The Position
Spend your summer outdoors, build lifelong friendships, and make a lasting impact on campers’ lives. As a Camp Counselor, you’ll be a mentor, role model, and guide—helping campers grow in confidence, independence, and leadership while creating unforgettable camp memories.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old
- High school student or graduate
- Experience working with children or willingness to learn through pre-camp training
- Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude
- Passion for working outdoors and mentoring youth

Responsibilities
- Support the Unit Leader in planning and leading daily camp activities
- Build meaningful connections with campers and foster an inclusive, respectful environment
- Teach basic camping skills and inspire a love for the outdoors
- Supervise camper safety, including health, wellness, and daily routines
- Help maintain clean, organized, and safe living spaces
- Assist with swimming supervision and waterfront activities (training provided if needed)
- Encourage teamwork, leadership, and camper participation through Girl Scout programming
- Participate in weekly Thursday overnight experiences
