Join us at Camp Addisone Boyce as a Unit Counselor and help create an unforgettable camp experience for girls while building your own leadership skills. This isn’t your typical summer job—you’ll be a mentor, role model, and adventure guide all in one.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Current high school student, graduate, or equivalent
- Experience working with children or willingness to learn through training
- Positive attitude, energy, and a team-player mindset
- Passion for youth development and the outdoors
Nice To Haves
- Previous camp or Girl Scout experience
Responsibilities
- Build meaningful connections with campers and create a supportive, inclusive environment
- Lead and participate in fun, engaging outdoor and camp activities
- Teach basic camping skills and foster a love for nature
- Help campers grow in confidence, independence, and teamwork
- Support daily routines including cabin life, meals, and camp responsibilities
- Ensure camper safety and well-being at all times
- Assist with waterfront activities and swimming (training provided if needed)
- Collaborate with your team to plan and deliver memorable camp experiences
- Participate in weekly Thursday overnight programming
