Camp Counselor
About The Position
Arcis Golf team members thrive on anticipating needs, forging connections, and elevating experiences for our team, members, and guests. We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Camp Counselors to oversee and engage with our young members & guests during summer camps and recreational activities at The Dominion Country Club. The ideal candidate will create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment, ensuring all participants have an enjoyable experience.
Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years old
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work outdoors and stand for extended periods
- Energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic about working with children
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with children or in recreational settings is a plus
- CPR certification is helpful but not required; training may be provided
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead group activities, games, and sports for children
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Foster positive relationships and promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and good behavior
- Assist with setting up activities and maintaining a clean, organized space
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and campers
- Enforce rules and safety protocols consistently
- Provide first aid and respond appropriately to emergencies
