CampForAll.org Job Description From May 11, 2026 to August 8, 2026 the Camp Communications Coordinator will gather photos, videos, and camper stories to capture our mission in action. They will be responsible for our daily Camp News Network presentation, and work closely with the Program Manager and Communications Manager to execute the role. They are expected to help create and maintain a professional environment where the Camp For All mission is carried out through high-quality work. Reports To Camp Communications Coordinator reports to the Program Manager Employment Type This is a seasonal, non-exempt role.

Requirements

  • High School diploma (or equivalent)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Experience in leadership and/or volunteer roles
  • Desire to work with the special needs population
  • Move equipment and/or objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Communicate verbally across long distances

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in photography/videography is a plus
  • Editing, writing, and managing social media platforms are a plus
  • Confident connecting with campers, staff, Partners, and volunteers

Responsibilities

  • Participates in staff orientation and training for Camp For All programs
  • Obtains required CPR training
  • Follows all safety standards set by Camp For All and the Program Manager in accordance with Texas Department of Health and American Camping Association
  • Immediately corrects any safety infractions and/or reports such to supervisor
  • Displays the ability and desire to work as a “team” with the program management team as well as other program staff
  • Manages free time in a responsible manner to be fully prepared for each Partner group
  • Follows a variety of instructions, procedure manuals, and safety rules
  • Maintains flexible work schedule with the ability to work extended hours as needed
  • Create the daily Camp News Network presentation
  • Take photos and videos of campers, staff, and volunteers
  • Collect and share photos and videos with the Communications Manager
  • Collect and share camper, staff, and volunteer stories with the Communications Manager
  • Organize materials for the upcoming week and table in the dining hall to collect stories
  • Create an end-of-season staff slideshow and yearbook
  • Meet weekly with the Communications and Program Manager to share updates and goals
  • Support with partner photo and slideshows needs as necessary.
